This will demonstrate if any elements in your circuits or systems are overloaded, and exposed potential risk of fire or electrical shocks, which could be a danger to your staff and customers.

PAT Testing

PAT testing, also known as Portable Appliance Testing, involves the regular checking of equipment which is connected to a socket via an electrical plug. This testing is to include not only visual checking, but also the use of a PAT meter, designed to check the earth continuity, insulation resistance and polarity of wiring. These checks are to be carried out by authorised professionals and are designed to show whether or not the appliance is safe to use within a commercial setting.
